I thought it was time to delete my blog. Originally I was going to keep it as a journal of sorts, but I ended up not using it. And I thought I'd just cover myself by eliminating anything I might have posted without really thinking. Safety.
The Merv Griffith Theory. This was the name of my solo "act" when I would play guitar in college. No one really knew this, because...
1. It wasn't a big deal
2. I don't think I even told everyone
3. You don't need another name for your act if you are one person- unless you have separated from a major recording group and retain part of that name to smooth the transition to solo performance, as in the case of Sting.
Soon after a performance, someone brought to my attention that it should be the Merv "Griffin" Theory, not Merv Griffith. I had used the wrong name. But, since it didn't matter... I didn't change it. What is the theory? I had it figured out a while ago- I might have even written it in my original blog. It will come back to me.
